When I moved to Manitoba last year, I was amazed at how little my allergies bothered me. In Ontario, I would spend much of my summer with pills, sprays and drops just to get by. But my first summer in Manitoba was completely allergy symptom free. THough the past 3 days have seen a return. I don’t know whether it’s the wind blowing some weird pollen in off of the prairies or what. ...

the strangest weekend on record....
So this weekend I ended up at my ex-girlfriend’s cousin’s bachelorette party in Clear Lake Manitoba. Needless to say it was a very entertaining night. Another highlight was the girl I met on the patio who wanted me to take pictures of her (with her own camera). Turns out she was just released from Stony Mountain Penitentiary. What a strange, strange adventure it was.

I vote that instead of calling yourself old school or low-fi; we now refer to it as standard definition. As in: “I’m standard def, yo!”
